What is the size of the hose from the fuel rail to the injectors on the 2.5 GTV6 engine?
I have to replace mine.
Greg, do you sell a kit for this?
Thanks,
Scott
Injector Fuel Hose
THis is from the Alfa Digest from a few years ago. The sourcec is Joe Elliott. My experience mirrors his in that the guys in BMW parts departments are not very helpful. He notes that their 8 x 13 is actually the proper 7.5MM
BMW Store: 1 meter (3.28ft), 13 31 1 469 781 "8x13" fuel hose, $10
AutoZone: 6ft (1.83m), 240844 65152 Goodyear 5/16" FI hose, $26.94
All these years, I'd been going to the BMW dealer to get the "good
stuff" only when I needed to make leak-free connections with OEM
barbed hose fittings on the fuel rail, and assumed I was saving money
by getting the locally-available 5/16" stuff (that works out to
7.94mm, while I believe "8x13" metric stuff is actually 7.5mm OD) for
all my other EFI work.

Awww heck....went to the mercedes dealer to get it and paid almose 15 with tax for half a meter
Then I see your post
Took the fuel rail off last night....the hoses parted easily enough... and found the injectors loose and able to twiddle around
. fortunately I was able to find seal kits for $19 and change for all 6 injectors
They are Python Injection #200-120. The kits have upper and lower seals, the lower end cover and another plastic piece that I don't know what is.
So now I think I'm set to get the injectors back in and Greg's hose and intake kits on this weekend. And maybe rebuild the front end of the suspension.
