i have a 3.3l gtv6 from South africa(yes 3.3litre ).since i moved to perth australia i have taken the 3.3l off & replaced it with a 3.0l fuel injected motor.it however has all the elect of a 2.5 besides the injectors being that of a 3.0l.
the car runs fantastically well & gives me great fuel consumption ,but on hard acceleration the rev limiter cuts in at 4500rpms on first,4800rpms in second, around 5000rpms in 3rd etc.Under normal accel it revs right up to 6000+. does anybody out there know how to solve my problem with the rev limiter. thank you....alternatively do you think that im running out of fuel/fuel pressure too low?
