Brakerless distibutor control module(s) compatibility

Hi there i have a magneti marelli breakerless distributor without its coil/ignition module and wanted to know if it would work with a Bosch coil/ignition module? I need to use the magneti marelli one because its got a different advance cure to the bosch one i've got.
Is this possible? each type of distributor only has 2 wires, the magneti ones are thicker(higher amps?) to bosch ones.
Does anyone have a magneti marelli ignition/coil module?
