I've begun to notice a fuel smell in the boot of my '84 GTV6. Last time I had this it was because the fuel tank was rusted out but this one seems ok. Its worse after its been left standing a while. I've checked the hose clips on the filler neck and the overflow seems ok. Is there anything else obvious I should check?

It is probably the rubber hose that connects the body with the tank. Mine got a crack in it and started leaking. It has been exposed to gasoline for 21 years now, so have a look att it.
