Stock L-Jet. Just want more info for tuning.
I have some 'difficult' Shankle cams and I don't want to MS just yet.
So if anyone has used the ZT-2 as a tuning device I would be interested in hearing their views.

I investigated this all a while ago and ended up settling for the Innovate LM-1 with RPM sender. It's a great little unit, a bit bulky but has everything you need and arguably the best software interface of them all, Logworks. It's probably worth considering if you're thinking of getting a MegaSquirt later on as Logworks has an auto-tune compatiablilty with MS.
Basically I was looking at value for money feature wise and there's barely a difference between the two when you select the right models. I was swayed to the LM-1 because I got a good deal through Ebay, brand new unit (opened but unused) simply missing the cigarette lighter power cable (of which I made for $5) complete with the Innovate carry case, all for about the same price as the LM-1 alone from Innovate themselves.
Of course with the stock L-Jet there's not much you can do apart from tweak the air/fuel ratio on the AFM, but definitely a money saver with an aftermarket ECU when you can do a majority of the tuning yourself and not on a dyno.
ROCK ON
