Non-resistor ignition leads

Post by Bruce »

Now, my 75 has the original leads with the Bosch resistor ends and I use NGK BP6ES (non-resistor) spark plugs, so if I use BPR6ES (resistor) spark plugs, I could theoretically use the same (or similar) leads (copper core) without the resistor ends? Yes?

Resistance is resistance so why not? As long as the total resistance is the
same in the new setup as the old one, how is the brain going to tell the
difference?

Quite correct, copper core HT wire is cheap and the resistor plugs cost about the same as non-resistor plugs, you could save a packet and make your own leads up.
