i have a problem and need some ideas. I have an 82 gtv6.Problem stated a few months ago but has got worse. Whenever i drive the gtv and the temp needle gets to the middle,and if i stop somewhere and try to start the car it will not start.When i turn the key i can hear the fuel pump and everything else works lights etc but i will not hear the starter engage.I have had to wait from 15 minutes to 45 minutes for the engine to cool down a bit before the starter will engage.It is getting very frustrating.I thought it might be the battery, so i checked to see if there is a drain on the battery when i turn the key, the lights are still bright.Its like when the engine is hot there is no power going to the starter.I am afraid to stop anywhere unless its a very short drive where the engine has not warmed up enough. The car does not overheat. Any ideas? relay? Thanks!
