UPS are well expensive! They even charged me an extra €17 euros this end, not including the €20 tax which was fair enough. The total bill was about 1.5 times the price of the product!

Just received the modified tank from David @ Canton. Looks just right. Will fit it on to the car to confirm fit asap - though likely this will be during the weekend.

Have a look:

Oh - forgot: I'm expecting a RWHP gain of at least 30HP, making this mod by far the greatest HP/$ investment you could buy, far exceeding that of S/C or TT

 What would the HP gain if we ditched the L-Jet along with the old tech plastic tanks? 40-50 rwhp gain?

My tank with the old fixings is now safely fitted, it just needed 2 extra-long screws and a pair of 3cm steel sleeves and fits perfectly. I am a satisfied customer. Well done Canton!

Installed the re-worked tank today. Looks fantastic in the car. Didn't realize how the old yellowed plastic one took away from the engine bay's appearance.

David, the fit up is almost spot on. If the angled tab's hole was moved 1/8" away from the tank both directions, the fit would be ideal. For mine, I opened up all 3 holes to 3/8".

To isolate the tank from the bodywork, I used o-rings either side of the mounting tabs. The large fitting at the bottom is a bit undersized, so I changed the Alfa hose clamp to a more standard jubilee-type clamp. This allowed the hose to be pinched tighter. The other barb-type fittings are unlikely to need clamps.

Is that a joke? or will simply changing the expansion tank improve anything besides cool factor :?:
