Compressor removal

Hi all,
I am trying to take my AC compressor off. I can see one nut at the back of the system and that's it. There is one on top but that seems to be for the distributor.
Can anyone tell me where I can find nuts/studs to remove it? Do I need to take off the timing belt cover?
Thanks.

I'm assuming this is a V6?

I just pulled the compressor off my 75 V6. I didn't pull the cam belt covers off or the radiator hoses, just the airbox and AFM. It's really hard to get at the bolts that hold the compressor in the frame, so I took the frame and compressor out as a unit. You need to undo:

-2 bolts that screw from the underneath of the sump into a cast iron bit.

-There's a nut on the front of the AC 'frame' directly under the tensioner. This screws onto a post that screws into the block.

It's hard to see the post in the pic, but it's in that area, and you can get at the 2 bolts through the sump from under the car.

Cheers, Scott.
