Heater unit foam

Glued to the heater unit is a piece of foam that is sandwiched between said unit and bulkhead. Mine has got a bad case of foam worm, better than tin worm I suppose. Can anybody advise on a foam I could use to replace? I could use ordinary foam but not sure if this is suitable.

Thanks for any help.

Tony I am right in the process of doing the exact same job.I used self-adhesive window foam which is approx 1/2 1/2".It comes in a roll. This seal is not subjected to much heat so should work just fine.

Truck Bed seal

There is a seal material that is used for truck bed covers that you can get at NAPA wich works very well, like the window stuff possibly slightly more moisture resistant.

Also the entire heater core/chiller center unit was made by who? Anyone know the side unit?
Thanks
