Good day too you all

I have put a gearbox in off a 75 3.0 QV in my GTV6.

I have the SGI-5 and works fine driving but the problem i have is that wenn the car is standing still and let the engine ref up the tacho refs up with the refcounter.

Does anyone incounterd this problem and yes what did you do too get rid off the refing.

the quick fix is to run a "new" power wire off the battery to a relay...run the power off the relay to the sgi-5 power side...use the old speedo power wire as the trigger wire for the relay..problem solved

the "other" fix is to litteraly tear into your wireing and seperate out the tach wire from the speedo wireing and get them as far away from eachother as posible
