weird clutch cover bolts, new alfa owner

Hi folks, Im a new verde owner and already delving into the mysterious alfa transaxle world. I recently obtained a platinum transaxel with nearly new clutch. (My clutch/2nd synco are going). The bolts for the clutch cover were missing but I figured Id use the old ones from the verde clutch unit. WRONG! The platinum bolts seem to be 7mm COURSE PITCH while the old verde are the common 7mm FINE (1.00) pitch. No bolt shop even lists 7mm x1.25 bolts. Any suggestions where I can find these weird bolts?

Thanks, Tom Phillips.

Are you sure that somebody hasn't raped it with an imperial screw? :o

I wondered about that too. The pitch is close to 20 per inch as would be a metric 1.25 mm per thread however a 5/16 bolt is too big and a 1/4-20 is too small.
