Ben Bishop and I had a good couple of beers with Kevin yesterday.

Jeez you South Afircans have Alfas sorted over there.

The tales of TT monsters, and 3.8 24vs... it's insane!

I want to hear more details on the above race car.

I WANT ONE!!!!

Hi Julian, Ben it was good to finally meet you guys.(Im back in SA) I must compliment Jules on his 2.5 as this definately is the fastest, highest revving non turbo 2.5 i have been in. However my neck was pretty stiff for a day from sitting in the back crunched up while Ben enjoyed the leg room in the front and Julian continuosly blipping the throttle to keep the revs up with those wild cams.

Hey Andrew when are you coming to SA. I have A few cars for you to test that are actually running very well.
I can finally drive my GTA conversion with confidence in DRY weather since Barry put those 8 pots on front with the GTA discs. Could have put 6 pots on but as the price was the same, what the hell. This car will be used for track days this year.

BACK ON THE SUBJECT , your tt looks like it can supply you some good adrenalin pumping entertainment similiar to that on your last SA visit.
Cheers

French cars are shit and shit expensive to service and bloody awful and unreliable and expensive and friends don't let friends drive french cars and you wait years for parts.

Cheers Kev! Glad you liked my little Revver! It was a thoroughly enjoying time- hearing all of these stories showed us how far behind the rest of the world are when it comes to performance Alfa Romeos!!

Tales eliciting sounds of wastegate flutter and blow off valves, accompanied with seat sucking torque, and a slight yaw angle upon acceleration just make 8000 rpm of 2.5 seem inadequate! No matter how glowing the complements- Its time to find a 105 for my V6!

Looking forward to seeing you again should you make a journey Down Under again!

Barry- when I am flying the Cape Town route for Emirates, I will have you build me a car like the one above!!!

I love this Twin Turbo stuff. It's the epitomy of Alfa Horsepower!

Kevin glad to see you back on the sight again. Thanks for letting us know what a great 2,5 Jules has.Jules I can relate to your blipping the throttle as I am often having to do that even with my 3,5.

Kevin let me know when you intend doing a track day because I will definatly come along to see your baby in action and give mine it's first track run for 2005.

Sorry for deviating from the post.Andrew that 'little' twin of your's looks like the business.Am I mistaken or is the same car that was featured in Auto Italia some time back by old Roberto ?

Fernando, are you the Fernando with the slightly lightened GTV? or is that the other Fernando?

Ewe Sarth Efrikans hev shewn op arn this Site and blown us away with all your motors.

I wish I had to blip my "3.5" to keep the revs up and torque going.... I cant foresee such problems with a 3.5, so yours must be fairly angry!

Unfortunatly that's not me Jules.Mine was a 2,5 once upon a time.Jules I ran out of cash to have Gotech fitted but hopefully in February the Bosch system will be consigned to the dustbin and my car will idle properly.Dawie is talking about putting in an even wilder set of cams then!

The 'lightned' GTV would still wipe the floor with me though as I have seen it a Zwartkops one Trackday give a 911GT3 a hiding. This was made all the more sweeter for me as I had my Scooby mates and BMW loving cousin watching this...

Thanks

The works not mine though, Dawie at glenwood motors gets the credit - oh, and Barry painted the engine bay!!!

I think the turbo's are mitsu td04 13g - not sure. similar to a garrett t3.
