I have a new question........
ts gearbox let my milano3.0 run fast.....but lose my top speed.....
My 5th gear to rev. limite is too quick!!Let the top speed about 210~215km/h only...

In highway Taiwan,I often meet Volvo 850 & Bmw 525, but I always lose in 4th and 5th gear...especially top speed.....
Do someone have the same experience???

I ask for the squadra tuning chip...He could give me a 7000rev. limited chip.....I think maybe the chip add 500rev. can give me more speed in top..or get a 1.8TB final gear ratio(3.9:1)

Which one you choose??????Chip or gear ratio!

Although I get pretty acceleration , but I lose too much top speed.....so cofuse me

Hi,

Is your engine using the fuel injection from the Milano (Jetronic) or 164 (Motronic) ? If Motronic, you can go for a chip. If L-Jetronic, you should upgrade to megasquirt like many other GTV6 3.0 owners here, and then dyno tune it. You cannot "chip" a Jetronic.

You can just use 17" wheels to bring up the top speed

But let me suggest that you add 164 S/QV camshaft. The standard camshaft on the 3.0 is horrible. No power.

My engine was from the 164 3.0(in Taiwan the 164type is 192bhp/25kg/w),I use the motronic also!

Because I use the ts gearbox....so my 5th gear to limilte too quick......cause my top speed couldn't high more!!

Whether 15' to 17" wheels...I couldn't add any max speed!Because my 5th is arrival rev. limited !

This setting let my milano like a hot-hatch....I said,although I get pretty acceleration~but I esurient hope have acceleration and more top speed!!!!

The 164 3.0's rev limited is 6500rpm????

The TS box has lower top speed! About 210-215km/h. The original 3.0 gear box has the highest... about 240km/h.
