Looks great Did you need to do anything about the brake booster?
What's the problem with the oil pressure sender? If the SZ is like the Milano you can either mount the separate sender (for the warning light) by fitting a "T" where the 24v gauge sender sits, or you can (try - not always easy) take out one of the allen head plugs and put the sender for the light in its own port. I have done both in the past.
BTW, interesting to see that the SZ chassis still has the perches where the 75/Milano rear springs sit on the chassis

hi jes,
that's what we're going to do: mount both senders on a T piece mounted behind the engine,far away from the heat.
the brakebooster didn't fit.i'll have to use a bmw one.
also there is no rear exit for the heating on this engine.
but as i have a seperate oilcooler we left away the original oil/water heatexchanging system and we can use one exit from the front of the engine
the gta brake conversion seems to fit but the centre opening in the gta disk needs to be made a bit larger to fit over the hub

Marc I am glad to see it's all coming together for you.Trust me,once you have put a few miles into that engine your going to be smilling like a chipmunk.
Just to wet your appetite a little bit,I had promissed Barry I wouldn't make mention of it but I am sure he will forgive me for this one....
A few weeks ago my brother and I had a great breakfast with Mr B.On the way home we hook up with an BMW M3CSL. Now there is no way in hell I was not going to have an improptu highway race with this bloke.
He gears down two gears and I went down to fourth and we both nailed the throttles.Quite a sound hearing my own engine screaming towards 7000rpms and a CSL fully wrung out next to each other. Anyway we ran neck and neck till I banged into the limiter,but traffic was now looming so we hit the brakes at the same time and I am afraid to say traffic conditions thereafter precluded any further 'racing'

Is that the oil cooler for the transmission that sits on the right side, mid-ship? That is a very exposed location for a race car - wow - or is picture misleading? I would have torn it off on a number of occasions bouncing over curbs, I think - due to slight driver mistakes

Marc,looking at the exhaust..two 164 front downpipes,they have some very nice flexi`s in them..Will work perfectly there..!

Marc no the M3 CSL was not faster we ran neck and neck through fourth.I couldn't pull him and nor could he.My brother was suitably surprised at this as well as I trust me.
Anyway Marc,an impromtu street race is hardly a scientific or accurate reflection of a cars ultimate performance,but it sure is great fun.
