Ha ha , you should never have pulled that Johnnie Blue out . Might have to let the forum know you employed eight of your mates to help assemble your new road/track car yesterday , then bribed them with lots of food and alcohol :D

joemart thanks for video clip . 260 hp on the wheels sure lights up the tyres . Not good to speed up and down the neighbourhood . I did get to put the steering wheel correctly aligned before car went to storage .

Some completion pics after 4 months of work(7 month Siesta in between) from my side and one month at the panel shop - so yeah about a 5 month build with very few parts original on the car . I have not put the 8j rims on rear until I can find tyres in uk when car gets there .

Thanks Jules , I'm currently storing car at a friends shop in Johannesburg as my export clearance permit only arrived two days before I left to go back to sunny UK . I will head back to SA in end of January to load myself . Any way its parked amongst some beauties including my dads old Giardinetta.

Hi , are you referring to the adaptor plate between gearbox and engine ?
A company in South Africa made it for me . I can send you their details but they were pretty slow but delivered when counted .

Sorry Sorry i wasnt clear enough .. I meant the flange at the SEI diff end that connects to the uni joint ..

Yes that was cut of from another part and welded to the sei flange . Its way to big and heavy . If I had to do it again I would find something smaller . But I was thinking of putting twin turbos on this 3.7 at some stage if I was staying in SA .

Bought some new gadgets for the car even though its 10 000km from me . Always wanted an Afr to log on to my dash 2 display . Friend of mine nearly lost an expensive motor a short while ago due to running to lean . It was not a dyno is issue but a faulty alternator that created havoc in charge at high rpm affecting the ecu .
Also got a wheel speed sensor from racetechnology to link up as I want to get MOT . Maybe in future to drive the car to the Ring and Spa .( just dreaming) .
I have noted I made a mistake in my positioning of my lamnda sensor as instruction show it must be at a 15 degree angle not at right angle .
