With the oldest GTV6 nearing 40 years in service, a forum to document projects and restoration seems sensible.

I think you have a half-arse rust repair and a big black rubber condom to cover it up.

Seeing as there is now zero interaction on this forum I’ve lost enthusiasm for the 75 upgrade and it’s off to the scrapyard next week

If I toss these redundant 3.2’s in the boot I should get an extra $20 on the weighbridge

There is a very exciting project that I will start posting next year. It’s gonna grace the race tracks, it will spit flames, it’s gonna be to Historic Touring car specs (we’ll sort off) it’s gonna deliver 380 Hp but it’s how its gets delivered is the biggest “ innovation “ since the 90s . It’s a transaxle and still the same looking gearbox !

I asked MD not to leave…and guess what he did? Leave! He’s now flaunting his goods on FB.

But I'm back.. :wall:

Had some password issues but Zamani solved those so now I can post again.

I actually still own my GTV but it has been on the back burner. I've build a '74 Giulia with a 2.4 JTD engine in it over the last years. Unfortunately I crashed it quite hard and am lucky to have survived that.

The last year I had to work on myself mostly but now I'm getting back into it. I've got 2 Giulietta 116 projects that need attention and after that I would like to get on with the GTV.

All my cars are not original and I don't care about it. My intentions are to build cars that I like and can afford. So if I find a 350bhp Alfa V6 engine to expensive I might put in an Audi V8 instead..

Good to see you back on here Remco.

It'd be great to see more life/life returning to forums. They're much easier to search than social media platforms.
And build threads and 'How To's' are a thing that is sorely missed.
