welll my 99 cent alfa is home and about to go under the knife of the sawzall

befor someone asks if it was saveable....well only it you have a good shell to start with lol...the tail light panel is litteraly held in by the tail lights and the rockers are falling off as well as much of the floor....the push button in the trunk lid instead of releasing the trunk when pushed...pushed thru the steel of the body work

jesus christ... it looks like that was sitting at the bottom of a lake! definately worth 99cents, but i hope it didnt cost too much to pick it up! turn the 2l into a coffee table.

well it only cost me about 40-50$ in gas to pick it up...every piece of trim is good as well as all of the glass but the windshield...2 sets of the guage eybrows 2 good tail lights(need me 2 more now) the 2.0 looks and smells like it is low milage(very little wear on any of the top end)..one good seat back 2 good headrests....and the list keeps going...i should break even on just what i scrap let along whats actualy saveable

i useualy have a very hard time bringing myself to cut any car up....but when there this far gone i jump right in

Wow, thanks for making my day. My Alfa looks like a trailer queen compared to this poor Alfa. You are definately a dedicated car nut.

It doesn't look bad for a parts car. I would have bought it for that price too.
The rim looks rust free. It's getting a collectable soon. There's alway some weird folk trying to make things original.
Even the two front spoilers look good. They tend to be broken and good ones are hard to find.

someones going to think im crazy but im thinking about useing the lowwer half of the nose area on the 83 since its soooo much nicer looking without a bumper...

when all is said and done i will post up a list of parts that i have no intention of useing or packing away as spares

the fire pretty well stayed in the engine bay but took nost of the wireing with it in the dash as well as melted the backs of the center guage set but the faces and needles are good oddly enuf....and im seriously wierded out that the front floors are rust free

btw anyone need any patch panel sections befor i go nuts with the sawzall?

well we have all wondered at least once what an alfetta/gtv6 would look like as a convertable....so being the car to rusty to save and had to be cut up i figured what the hell right...i was quite amazed at the lack of flex when removeing the roof...most cars would have buckled and bent when removeing a roof this alfa didnt even flex 1/2 an inch

as far as the look itself goes...i think if the car was about 10-18 inches shorter it would look great

after 2 days of cutting and saveing whats saveable the rear section will be cut into 3 pieces and loaded onto my scrap trailer...the front as it sits is getting stashed for the fact i need the front suspesnion for a project ..and i think that face needs a transplant
