I know that the interior lights in the GTV6 are a problem. No longer available and the old ones are crap. I searched the junkyards and finally found a pretty good solution. I've got a few extras if anyone is interested. Wire up the same and have the same switch settings as the stock lights. The only drawback is that you have to use a dremel and slightly enlarge the B pillar opening.
Attached is a pic of the lights. And no, I'm not keeping it a secret. They're from 1st. gen. VW passat.
