pictures of the 3l 24v motor (out of the engine compartment)

Post by Sporttunergtv6 »

i could use a pic of the ass end of a 164 3l 24v. i got a 2.5l 24v pic but it is from the 166 and it has the coolant in the back. i am trying to get a local company on board to make that transmission adaptor and i do not want them to get scared away. post them up and please make some suggestions about getting this plate fabbed up.
check out the 6 speed a la getrag post and please suggest away on that topic too. i am begining to think that i should cut the bell housing off a 164 transmission and weld it on to the 350z box...

You can off set the "pipe - tube"(the one that screws into the block) by rewelding it to its threaded housing but you are not guaranteed it will turn to the correct position or you can do it the proper waylike Barry does it and cuts the one tube off the thermostat housing and reweld it in the correct position. May be he might post a pic of that. Not that difficult if you have the correct weldind equipment.
