Seems the performance of the cars are about equal.
The 993 RS has a 3.8L 315 bhp as opposed to the 270-286 of the "normal" 993s. Those GTV6s are 3.0 24Vs I think, so about 230 bhp. The 993RS has got a bit more oomph than the GTV6s, but notice that he only gains if he manages to stay close behind the GTV6 (slipstreaming it).
But then again, 315 bhp is 315 bhp, not much hope for the little Alfas really.
In this video you can see that once the RS gets into the slipstream it can nicely pull on the GTV6. Not bad though for a small bore engine!
Would be nice to see a 3.7L Glenwood against the RS.
AR4me's 3.7 already puts out a nice 300 rwhp or about 340 bhp. That's F355 territory!
I think JungleJustice's 3.7 which has 11.X:1 pistons would put out closer to 350 rwhp.
