I know it's a road car as well, but he asked an honest question and I gave him an honest response. Race & Track forum you know... ;)

And yeah I noticed that the horizon was askew, took that into account.

Is this a 24v car? Mats Forssén (on this forum as well) drives a red GTV6 24v in our series and that one has #71 as well. :)

It's only cheating when the outside wheels are on the inside of the inner curbs... 8)

Thx Barry!

jes: face shield? We're not allowed to use full face helmets (too heavy) unless we have an international license or have a HANS system. Odd how that international license seem to make your neck stronger...
I do wear a balaklava though so you don't have to see my face. 8)

Thanks for comments. This car will become a dedicated track car so I have already started looking at carbon fibre doors etc.(work is only two km away so when its used on road its because one of my family members borrows the 164.) All this weight I am saving as going straight back on with the bigger vent brakes.
Car is sluggush in reaction but It will never get under 1100kg and i must face that fact. Camber is 3 degrees and castor is at max unless cut body. Next constraint is I cant lower it anymore as the motor thats coming in is from a 156 with custom sump which is one inch deeper than than the standard sump on 164 24v motor.
Difficult constraint to work with thats why Im gonna add 100kw to chase the 105 gta replicas with twinspark motors and even then they gonna be quicker in the corners. Thats where the double weeving tactic comes in !

My impression was that you could get them to <1000 kg. No?

Interesting. We must wear a full face helmet or at the minimum those non-glass sunglasses - too protect the eyes I suppose. HANS is not required - it is very expensive ($800-$1200) but a good investment I think - haven't got it yet

Got some new go faster bits (or stop quicker bits )for the car. Got prop cages back which got sprayed in gold as I had nothing to do once i got hold of that can. Some pics on another motor. This car is getting a multi valve upgrade after next race.
