Its a slog Garth..Using the carb heads Ive had to manufacture a full intake system and plenum that also looks good ..
Well,I got the finished intake back from my platers today..Thankfully I can now forge ahead..

Barry,

Are the heads meant for carbs? The intake entry point is not the same as injected motors. I wonder what shape of fuel rail are you gonna use...

This is for Brian Berger..the reason for the carb heads and the custom intake is so we can still use the std. 20l bonnet/hood.
Next time though its a 2.5 one!!!!!!!!This is a lot of graft..

Baz,

No emails received. I thought you didn't think it was worth the hassle. Maybe I can call you up? Don't worry I won't call you up telling you the PO'ed baboon you nearly hit while driving to Kevin's house made away with the GT28 turbo at 1am. Just need some quotes.

Why didn't you just use the 164 intake setup? Must be something I'm not seeing. I thought the 164 setup will fit under the Alfetta bonnet.

That looks great Barry. It's a lot of work just to use an Alfetta hood, somebody there must really like that flat hood.

I thought it was a Giulietta at the beginning of the thread, but I also see what looks like an Alfetta GT on page 5. I should probably go re-read...

Zman,Yes..164 stuff would have solved a lot of problems..Was not available at the time, and I had a set of carb heads that Id prepared 15 years ago for a "Barry project engine"You know, that elusive "my " engine..best case of the barefoot cobbler here.
But thats all changed,Ive finally got a car at the paint shop for myself!!
Must say I think the custom stuff looks better than the 164 stuff..I enjoy doing things differently..

I am amazed no one has criticized the plenum here yet..I got some secret "for your eye`s only"stuff inside..Nah,Its simply a deflector so that those two center cylinders are not biased..

Thanks Greg-You know,the customer is always right..untill I lose it..haha.

Jess,Its still a single turbo install! another car yes,but...

Zman,I wouldnt be rude and not send a courtesy reply at least..Anyhow,we finally communicate..Thanks for the confirmation mail.
