I'm doing some calculations and when I finish my car (AR75 3.0 24v), car registration + insurance will cost me arround 600 euros per year.


What about you guys? (I hope that this question is not impolite to ask)...?

12 months registration for me with compulsory third party insurance (that covers people only - so medical expenses etc) is about $600AUD.

For third party property (covers damage to someone else's car) with fire and theft protection on my car I'm paying around another $300AUD a year.

So say $900AUD a year just to drive on the road. Yay.

Here: reg+insurance 600 Euros = 1 027.14571 Australian dollars (covers third party property). Theft & fire protection are not included.

Not to mention that average sallary here is only 300 euro.
