Platinum transaxle speedo confirmation
I read Michael's tranaxle FAQ and just need to confirm something.
I picked up a Platinum transaxle yesterday and have the amplifier along with the Milano speedo.
In Michael's article he mentions an 86 or late 85 speedo will also work. Car in question is a late 85 with iso linkage. Build date is November 84.
I'm not near the car to check the sender, is it the same as the Milano with an amplifier?
I have the chance at a 86 GTV6 speedo. Would that be better?

No it isn't wired properly because :-
The sender you are holding was never fitted to an 1982 GTV. It will certainly NEVER work with an 1982 Veglia speedo without a signal converter like the SGI-5.
It may be ok but the missing converter means it cannot work.
Please do a search on speedo fixes in this forum for heaps of advice.
