Does anyone have any experience with this rtypr of chip : http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Performance-Chip ... 5|294%3A50
I know the Squadra Chips have proven gains but not sure if anyone has tried this on their car.......
Re: Promax performance chip
They aren't a "chip", the are something that is wired into the wiring loom to tell the computer lies about the actual value (read voltage output) of 1 or maybe 2 sensors to try and effect some sort of change in the way the computer runs the engine. Probably designed to effect the voltage output of the coolant temperature sensor.
BTW, there haven't been "chips" in ECUs for over 10 years. Cenrtainly not Bosch, Nissan, Toyota (never really had them anyway), Forda and GM.
