I've been working GTV6s for many years but it seems that we can learn something about it everyday.
Looking at the picture here below, can someone tell me what is the purpose of the resistor placed next the cooling expension tank ?

Billy that is the blower motor resistor.It drops the voltage in switched increments to control the interior fan speed.

As you know, my car is not a racing car and looks like new.
(at least, I try to make it look like)

It has all the internal componants at the right place. Interior fan and control switch
are part of the package and work perfectly.
On my car, the three wires that we can see on the picture are effectively there but no resistor is mated to it and the vent system works well (at all speed).
Is it possible that these wires are reserved for US version or for cars equiped with air conditionning ?
