The older ones are different, but the one on my '86 and a friend's '86 are the same as the Milano, they also have the Milano cam covers, but I don't know about the flywheel. I know there are issues between the older GTV6 flywheel and the Milano, I don't know if the '86 GTV6 has the Milano or older GTV6 Flywheel.
This is the pic of my GTV6 engine, not a great shot of the flywheel, but it is the same as the one's earlier in the post.

That is THE question. My understanding is that it won't work.
However, I was thinking that perhaps a pulley of a Motronic 75 would be a straight bolt-on AND fit. Anyone?

I am running the 2.5L pulley, AC, alternator and water pump on a 164 3.0L 12V. They all line up perfectly. I intend to use the 3.0L pulley and crank sensor when I add spark to MS on that motor.
Have a look at the 3.0L motor in my 3.0L conversion document in the Technical section. You'll see it all lined up. I don't have power steering but you can see the spare pulley groove. I don't see why the 3.0L pulley won't fit the 2.5.
I have the 3.0L pulley and a couple of spare 2.5's so I'll bolt it on and see how it looks if you think that might help.
I think you will also find the castings are on the 2.5 block ready to drill & tap for the crank sensor, but I'll have to check that to make sure.

Fitting a aftermarket 60-2 ringwheel to the standard crank will have no effect on balance ( as JJ said), I miss understood your post, thinking you wanted to change the entire pulley for an Alfa 60-2 from 75 motronic 1991/2, or early 164.
The counterweights on the inside of the factory 60-2 pulleys WILL BE different, and require re-balancing with the crank and flywheel - the V6 crank uses these external counterweights on the pulley and flywheel to acheive proper balance.
As I said to Jes, you will be making a big headache for yourself just to go to coilpack's on a 12V.
1. trouble with the oil pump drive
2. machining a plug with a rubber seal for the hole left by the dizzy
3. clearance issues with the water pump pulley
4. finding front cover from 75 motronic/Alfa SZ - or tapping and threading the old front cover
5. aligning the crank sensor is critical +/- .25mm out and you will get missfires.
End result will be no gain in power, and will cost quite a bit in monies.
If you are going this way, please take some pics for us all to see whats involved.

The dizzy can stay where it is, just let it spin, not the best solution, but a simple one. I am not sure about the others, I have not gotten that far yet, first I just need to get the fuel working. Right now I am working on the standard GoTech on my Verde, so once I tackle that, I will move the bar up and try something new....
