I do appreciate the history discussions on AlfaBB.com, but I don't think they need to be replicated here. History discussions fit well with the whole Alfa mystique. To discuss the technology of cars dating back to WWI is rather unique. Try finding that on any other auto board!
Two threads that might be of general interest that do not seem to be covered here are:
1)
How to drive the transaxle cars on the track. How are they different from other performance cars? I notice that at the DE events I go to the instructors sometimes give advice that is contrary to how transaxle alfas should be driven. One common mistake: instructors assume we have a lot more power than we actually do (on a stock car). I guess when you have just gotten out of someone else's $100k toy this is an easy mistake to make. They also find that the transaxle cars can lean a whole lot and still grip: this is often a big revelation to them!
2)
Write ups on how best to drive transaxle cars on specific tracks. Merril Gordon started this topic here:
http://www.alfagtv6.com/bb/viewtopic.ph ... ight=#6897 but there was no follow up. I was going to write up Summit Point raceway (where I have done all my DE days) but fear of the flames made me hesitate until the momentum was lost.

In the next few days I'll try to post my experience in order to give that thread a bump.
