That is consistant with some of the things that I have read about cryo treatment. It is said to increase fatigue life in many applications. A very encouraging testimonial.
I dont think that I am going to have enough power to need the extra margin of safety. That said, if there is a lifespan associated with every part, perhaps it will extend the life of my TA.
So,
My box is out and I am planning to treat the pinnion and the gears for sure. I am also going to treat my synchros and sleeves. (Dog teeth on the gears will benifit from any help methinks).
Should I do the ring? Should I do the diff? The diff case? I have heard of diff case failure, but is it common on modded cars?
What about the clutch case?
I know that from time to time most parts have been known to fail, but what parts seem to be the most prone to failure in these transaxles?
